Nurses Jobs in UK

English Language Tests
If you are a nurse or midwife trained outside the UK and want to register with the NMC, you may need to complete an English Language Test (such as IELTS or OET) and the NMC Test of Competence.
English Language Tests accepted by the NMC are:

International English Language Test System (IELTS)

Occupational English Test (OET)

The minimum acceptable criteria for NMC are:

An overall score of at least 7 for IELTS and grade B for OET.

At least 6.5 or grade C+ in the writing section and at least 7 or grade B in the reading, listening and speaking sections.
-
NMC also accepts combining test scores within six months of each other.
NMC Application Assistance
Nurses and midwives who wish to work in the UK but trained overseas must gain professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
When you apply for registration with NMC, you must hold an active license or registration approved by the licensing authority of your country from where you are qualified or are working.
